I’m pushing ahead and placing the Halloween bunting on the mantle. Maybe just a bit premature, huh? Think I’ll shop Etsy and find one that says “harvest” or “blessings” as I’m not a fan of Halloween anyway. In the meantime, I’m keeping the bunting up. It’s kind of cute!

I’ve been dabbling in the paint again trying to keep my spirits up during this dry heat wave.

Today was the 33rd consecutive day of 100+ temperatures.

Today is the 12th consecutive day of 100+ degree temps in the metroplex area. The roses have wilted and the grass is yellowing despite daily waterings. Fall can’t come fast enough this year.

I finally finished my first quilt top! This will be Joey’s official “woobie” once it is quilted and binded.

I’ve been playing with paint, rubber stamps, and paper. I love how the first girl turned out. Love these colors and the bunting.

However, I’m disappointed with the second girl. I don’t like the colors as much and really am not fond of butterflies. However, I’ll keep on going anyway!

I finally got around to making tissue paper pom poms for my craft room. I think I should’ve used a few more sheets for a fuller effect, but I didn’t have any extra packages so I used what I had. It definitely brightens up this corner of the room. I’ll share more pictures of my art nest as I continue to make progress on the organization.
